Folajimi Jarret, Liberty News, Enugu. It is a known fact that our esteemed governor has so many notable and incredible projects to his credit that cut across different spheres in the state.
For all these, I candidly appreciate our executive governor. However, your Excellency, this is to humbly seek, once again, your profound assistance in the academic pursuits of the ,Nigerian law school students.
The state had always assisted in this regard but I respectfully state that what the state did in the past cannot match the reality of current economy and the way things are presently in the Nigerian law school. I would not want to go into the details of the expenses the students endure but for the benefits of doubts, a visit to the school's website: www.mynlsp.com would give a better insight into our plights.

It may not therefore be surprising to see our colleagues from other states getting reasonable and encouraging assistance from their various state governments. while kogi state gave each student N200,000, Benue state gave N250,000. Also, recently, precisely on the 28th day of June 2010, the government of plateau state gave each of its students N565,000, amongst others assistance.
I believe students of this sunshine state should not be left behind as we all face the same challenges in the school. i therefore, I humbly call on our amiable and listening governor to come to our aid and make life worthwhile for us in our academic pursuits at the Nigerian law school.

I still fine it difficult to believe that Ondo State Government cannot give her esteemed law students scholarship that is in tandem with the economic realities in Nigeria. I remembered that law students of Ondo origin in the NLS last year almost took to street before they could be paid a meagre amount of #25,000 each.Let the Governor be informed that law students from Ondo State deserve better treatment just like their counterparts from other states as mentioned by Folajimi.I was told that the medical students receive higher scholarship. Why is this so? Your Excellency, please we deserve better treatment1
